Global Composting Solutions Senior Team


Chief Executive

Mr Andrew Green and his company Global Composting Solutions purchased the assets of HotRot Organic Solutions in November, 2015. Andrew was previously CEO of HOtRot, owner and director of KGRM Group Ltd, managing director of Designline NZ, and CEO of Gough Gough & Hamer, including the Caterpillar dealership for New Zealand. Andrew’s extensive commercial management, business development and engineering experience at senior levels is driving the company's international expansion.


Technical Director

Dr Lawrence Boul is the Technical Director for Global Composting Solutions. Lawrence has been involved in the continual development of the HotRot technology since its commercialisation in 2001.Lawrence’s current role not only takes in technical development but he is also regularly involved as project manager in the commissioning of HotRot facilities.

Production/ Project Engineer

Mr Victor Savage joined the HotRot team as Production Engineer in 2004. Since this time Vic has been involved in the installation and commissioning of HotRot systems around the world, including UK, South Africa and the USA.Vic started his career with an apprenticeship for a Trade Certification as a Fitter and then went on to gain his Advanced Trade Certificate - Fitting, then moved to the Electricity Corporation of NZ where he was involved full hydro-generation plant maintenance from preventative to complete overhauls. Returning to Canterbury with his family he continued to increase his knowledge and skills via experience in the food processing, recycling and industrial pumping industries.Vic acts as overall project engineer for most projects and has both a hands-on and supervisory role during the manufacture and installation of the equipment.


Procurement/ Project Engineer

Mr Trevor Atkins joined HotRot in 2012 as a Project Engineer. Trevor brings over 15 years experience working in a mass production environment and 4 years’ experience working in the Asian region with manufacture of electronically commutated motors, components and sub-assemblies. Along with extensive technical knowledge in light to medium manufacturing processes, injection moulding, Deep drawing, stamping, die casting, tooling manufacture and maintenance Trevor is involved with both our manufacture in New Zealand and overseas and our installation team. After several years working in Asia and China, Trevor is now permanently based in Canterbury with his family.Trevor and Vic act as overall project engineers for the HotRot projects and have a hands-on and supervisory role during the manufacture and installation of the equipment.


Sales and Marketing Manager

Mr Neil Edmond joined HotRot in September 2014 as Business Development Manager primarily responsible for Australia and New Zealand. Neil has held numerous sales and marketing positions in export oriented companies and with HotRot he gets to combine his extensive BDM skills with his passion for recycling and renewables.
